Abhishek Chakraborty is the Executive Director of DTDC Express Limited, India’s leading Integrated Express Logistics player, and heads the company’s business, operations and strategy.

He joined DTDC in 2009, leading the Retail Business and developing the Day-Definite Premium Express Services. In the early years, he strengthened DTDC’s International offering and laid the foundation for B2C services. He has led company-wide programs that brought vital operational and technological advancements to DTDC. He has continued spearheading several digitally driven initiatives with a strong B2B/B2C focus that have re-defined DTDC as a Solution Provider of choice.

Leveraging DTDC’s market-leading position, Abhishek’s current focus is to reshape the company’s operational footprint, re-engineer its infrastructure and scale up its digital capabilities to drive hyper-growth across the business verticals of Express Parcels, International and Integrated E-commerce Logistics to establish DTDC as India’s reference player in the Express Industry by 2025.

Before joining DTDC, Abhishek was a management consultant with Accenture’s Global Talent and Innovation Network, where he worked on projects in the Global Banking and Financial Services sector. Preceding this, he had a stint as an Associate with one of the world’s leading Investment Banking Firms.
